Malinda Johnson

Managing Attorney

It's fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.

Malinda Johnson, founder and managing attorney of Trust Johnson Law, brings a unique blend of insight, experience, and compassion to her clients. With a double major in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado, followed by a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, Malinda’s journey into law began with a deep-rooted commitment to helping others thrive.
Since her admission to the Colorado Bar in 2010, Malinda’s career has been marked by dedication and drive. She first worked as a

prosecutor for the Englewood City Attorney where she prosecuted a wide range of municipal crimes, and later joined the 18th Judicial Court as a law clerk. In 2014, she took a bold step and opened her own practice, where she focused on helping families navigate some of their most difficult times. In 2022 she adjusted her focus and reestablished her practice dedicated to empowering businesses through personalized legal support. But Malinda’s passion extends beyond the courtroom. In 2019, she co-founded a
nonprofit to help veterans navigate the challenges of transitioning to civilian life, a cause close to her heart. Over the years, she has volunteered with organizations that uplift individuals with intellectual disabilities, wounded warriors, and veterans facing transitional hurdles. Driven, compassionate, and dedicated, Malinda Johnson is not only an advocate but a true ally to those she serves—whether they’re business owners, veterans, or individuals seeking a path forward.
